The owner John Gittins has been involved in motorcycles for over 30 yesrs. John started racing in 1984 on 250 LC Yamaha. John won the East Yorkshire auto 66 club championship in 1988. Due to a serious injury John had to retire from racing but his love for motorcyles carried on.

In 1997 John started racing again. This time endurance on a Yamaha R1 finally finishing second in the british championship.
